MNSL, which is wholly owned by the Maldivian government, takes pride in introducing its Board of Directors, who brings to MNSL diverse expertise and qualification that come second to none.  They are dedicated in bringing MNSL to the forefront of the shipping industry.

Mr Aimon Jameel
 

 

Mr. Aimon Jameel  joined the Company  on 10th March, 1981. He  graduated from The Centre for Business Studies (London) in 1984.  

He has served the Company under various posts including, as Marketing Manager and as General Manager  of the Company. He has dedicated his career in the shipping industry and is  specialized in shipping and chartering. Mr. Aimon Jameel, was appointed as Director of the Company by the Government on 07th October, 2004.  

Presently he is the Chairman of the board of Directors of the Company.

Capt.Ahmed Maumoon commenced his very best service to MNSL on 4th April 1990 as a cadet. His services led him to broaden Shipping & Logistics and eventually graduated as a Master Mariner on 27th November 2001. Furthermore, he also successfully completed higher studies in International Shipping and Shipping finance from United Kingdom (Msc in International Shipping and Msc Shipping, Finance & Economics) year 2005-2006.

Begin his very first employment at MNSL as a Junior Officer and has served various prominent positions in MNSL which includes, Master Marine, Project Development Manager Sr. Manager Business Development and Logistics.

He was appointed to the Board of Directors on the 16.08.2008 and currently serves as the Managing Director of the MNSL group.

Abdulla Nafiz
 

 

Mr. Abdulla Nafiz was appointed as a Member of the Board on 10th August, 2004.


He is presently the Dean of the Faculty of Computing & Business Studies. He holds a  Bachelors degree & Masters Degree in Business Management.

Ajwad Ali
 


 

Mr. Ajwad Ali was appointed to the Board of the Company by the Government on 18th August, 2004. He is Presently the Assistant Director General at the Ministry of Higher Education, Employment & Social security, Male’. He holds a  Bachelor Commerce degree  in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations and a Masters in Human Resource Planning and Development.

Mr. Ismail Shafeeq was appointed as Director of the Company on 13th April, 2006.He is presently  Executive Director at the Ministry of Finance & Treasury.
